Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. recently held its 3rd Annual Immuno-Oncology Education Event at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston on August 18-19. The event featured a number of presentations from some of immuno-oncology’s most prominent researchers, as well as one-on-one meetings with top public and private companies that are making waves in the field.
This event served as a foundation for Oppenheimer’s “On-site Insights Series,” created to give investors updated information on cancer research. “As a leader in biotechnology and life sciences equity research, we are pleased to partner with MD Anderson to offer our clients access to prominent scientists, allowing them to better understand new developments in cancer treatments and to better inform their investment decisions,” said Erica L. Moffett, Managing Director and Associate Director of Research at Oppenheimer.

The next leg in the series is set in the Fall at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, while its upcoming 26th Annual Healthcare Conference is scheduled December 8-9 in the same city.
